Swatter

Perhaps one of the most useful yet underrated household devices ever invented is the common fly swatter. This simple yet effective tool can be found in almost any home in the world, they come in all shapes, sizes and colors, but they all have the same task. No matter what you call it or how you wield it the flyswatter is for killing bugs. Of course flies are not the only bugs we kill with the swatter, we kill every imaginable flying insect and often many that crawl and hang from webs, it does not matter as long they are bugs we kill them. The only problem with the old style swatter is that no matter how hard you hit some bugs they just do not die or when they do it's because you have hit them so hard that you have smashed them flat. This can leave an ugly smear on the window or wall that you are stuck with cleaning up. With all of today's modern technology it is hard to imagine that someone has not come up with a better idea that is more effective and does not leave a big mess to clean up.

Technology has finally taken a look at the common swatter and brought it into the 21st century. There are now several different designs of electronic fly swatter or zapper that will help you to kill even the most resistant of bugs. The majority of them resemble a tennis racquet but act much more like a bug zapper that you might have hanging on your back porch. This type of swatter is powered by a couple of D cell batteries, but generates upwards of 2,000 volts that will kill any insect instantly. While this may sound dangerous, a well made electric flyswatter is designed to protect the user while still capturing the bug and killing it. Not only does it kill the insect, built with all but the biggest insects it instantaneously incinerates it and leaves nothing but ash. On the largest bugs the electric zapper will kill them and leave a body that has not been smeared all over your wall, which can be tapped into the trash can or toilet bowl for easy disposal.

Not only can you use an electric swatter in the house, but you can take it outside on summer night to help protect you and your family from mosquito bites. Mosquito bites are known to carry assorted diseases from Malaria to West Nile Virus and can cause severe allergic reactions in some people. Besides using a good repellent you can use the electric zapper to kill mosquitoes while they are in flight. You simply wave the zapper around and the electric grid will kill every mosquito it comes into contact with. If you are ready to step up to 21st century bug disposal you need an electric fly swatter. Suspend Ease has the latest in electric zappers with a larger head than most of the others on the market. You can use these to kill almost any insect that will ever bother you and leave no mess to clean up.
